This transducer mounted on the inside of the hull or pocket uses a narrow beam at low/high frequencies to display depth and temperature data in the Garmin nautical network through the probe, such as the GSD 26.
Designed to allow both traditional and widened spectrum exploration, this 2 kW plastic transducer with bare wires has a maximum depth of 8,000 ft (2,438 m), an operating frequency of 38 to 75 kHz and 130 to 210 kHz and a beam of 10 x 19 degrees. Inside the helmet it is mounted at a strut angle of 0-25°; the mounting in the pocket depends on the installation.
The transducer kit is supplied with the installation instructions. Follow the instructions carefully to avoid damage to the boat.
