This Tilted Element transducer has the ceramic element fixed at a 20° or 12° angle within the housing. When the transducer is installed almost flush to the hull, the tilt of the element corrects for the hull deadrise. By orienting the beam directly down, it ensures maximum echo returns to the transducer and more accurate depth readings. Available in three Tilted Element models: Fixed 20° tilted version for 16 to 24° hull deadrise angles Fixed 12° tilted version for 8 to 15° hull deadrise angles

Specifications

Acoustic Window

Urethane

Common Use

Leisure/Yachting, Fishing

Conventional Beam

45°/12°

Frequency

50/200 Khz

Functions

Depth, Temperature

Hole Size

60 mm (2-3/8") (fiberglass or wood hull), 70 mm or 2-3" (metal hull)

Housing

Stainless Steel

Hull Material

Compatible w/ all hull materials

Max Deadrise

Up to 24°

Max Deadrise Angle

24°

Max Depth

Low frequency- 366 m (1200'), High frequency- 213 m (700')

Max Vessel LOA

Up to 8 m (26')

Mounting Style

Tilted Element Thru-Hull

Power Rating

600 W

Product Family

Marine

Retractable housing

No

Single or Dual Frequency

Conventional Dual Frequency

Tilted Element

Yes

Usable Shaft Length

68.5 mm (2.70")

Weight

1.4 kg (3 lb.)

FAQs
<details>
How should the transducer be oriented during installation?

The arrow on the transducer cap should point toward the keel when installed.

</details><details>
How flush does the transducer sit when installed?

The design allows it to be installed nearly flush to the hull.

</details><details>
How is the correct tilted element model chosen based on hull deadrise?

Use the 20° model for hull deadrise angles from 16° to 24°, and the 12° model for 8° to 15°.
