Overview
The Harken® CLR™ mooring winch is a flush-stowing, deck-mounted powered winch for both sail and power yachts featuring geometry and mechanical characteristics never before seen. No other retracting, flush-mounted winch has offered the power-for-size ratio offered by the CLR. It stows completely belowdeck and occupies 40% less horizontal and less than 50% of the vertical space required by the previous market leaders. The CLR weighs just 33% of its competition while delivering comparable mechanical advantage. This compact form makes it possible for yachts to mount two CLR winches at the stern quarters and one in the bow. Who should install this winch?
Installation and maintenance information is intended exclusively for qualified operators; non-expert installation may cause serious damage.
What deck requirements are stated for installation?
Install on a flat deck area, reinforced if necessary, to bear a load at least twice the winch’s maximum working load.
Are installation bolts included, and what type are they?
Yes. The manual states CLR winches are equipped with M8x90 A4 stainless steel screws and deck washers.
Does winch orientation matter during installation?
Yes. Orientation must consider the outline dimensions, and there is only one orientation available for coupling the assembly support with the motor.
Should the columns support be removed during installation?
No. Keep the columns support in the position found when opening the packaging; remove it only when indicated.
What is the intended use of the CLR mooring winch?

We only use first-class delivery carriers, like UPS and DHL. There's a "Express Delivery" option for many shipping destinations available.
