Cut your strip lights to the length you require! Lumishore's LUX Cut & Seal Strip Lights are an excellent solution to your mood lighting needs, while providing incredible flexibility.

Full spectrum - cold white, red, green, blue, warm white and white color temperature tuneable (from 2700k to 6500k) available in a single LED strip.

They come with a connector at both ends. By cutting the strip to length it allows you to create 2 strips out of any standard strip light length* (cut points are spaced at 100mm intervals). A sealing kit is provided, including glue and end caps to seal the cut end of the LED strip, making it completely watertight.

Controlled by a momentary switch, with the option to upgrade to full integration with your compatible MFD and/or Lumishore Display.

Dimmable as standard and powered by a Strip Light Driver.

What are the SL180 electrical requirements (power and input voltage)?

The installation guide lists 5W per meter and an input range of 23–25V.

Are there bending limits during installation?

Yes. Bend only in the vertical axis, with a minimum 50mm bend radius. Do not bend in the horizontal axis or twist the strip.

How do the optional stainless steel mounting clips install/use?

They’re attached with a countersink screw. Gently prize open the metal clip, insert the strip light, then gently squeeze the clip together over the strip.

When are mechanical fasteners recommended in addition to adhesive?

For outdoor installs, wet areas, or tight bend radii, use mechanical fasteners in addition to the adhesive layer.

Where can the strip be installed (indoor/outdoor), and is it above-water only?

It can be installed indoor or outdoor/partially covered locations, but it is for above-water applications only.

Any handling cautions to avoid damaging the LEDs during install?

Yes. Don’t apply pressure over the LED area; press the edge only. Also avoid dropping/twisting and lay the strip flat and straight.

How should I prep the mounting surface for the adhesive backing?

Clean the mounting surface using IPA and ensure it’s free of dust and dirt before applying the strip.

How far apart should mounting fasteners/clips be placed outdoors?

Place fasteners about every 25–30cm, and/or on either side of a bend.

How long should the end-cap sealant cure before handling?

After fitting the end cap with the supplied silicone adhesive, let it cure for 24 hours before handling.

How long should I wait before turning the strip on after using the adhesive backing?

After pressing the strip into place with the adhesive backing, allow 24 hours before switching it on.

How should I prep the strip end before sealing the cut end?

At the end to be sealed: peel back 20mm of adhesive backing, then lightly score the adhesive 10mm from the end and remove tape to expose silicone.

How much silicone adhesive should go into the end cap when sealing?

Half fill the end cap with the supplied silicone adhesive, then fit the end cap and clean up any excess adhesive.

Can I ask for a proforma invoice instead of purchasing online?

Which payment methods are accepted in the Online Shop?

We accept credit and debit cards, PayPal and also Apple Pay.

You can also pay by bank transfer, selecting this payment method when checkout. Once the order has been placed without paying money, in the next screen we will provide you the bank information required for the transfer.

How long will delivery take?

We only use first-class delivery carriers, like UPS and DHL. There's a "Express Delivery" option for many shipping destinations available.

It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.

When you've placed your order, you can follow-up the shipping on the "My Account" section, with detail information about parcel status.

We will also notify you by email or SMS continously about each shipping activity.

What exactly happens after ordering?

You will receive a confirmation e-mail, including all items ordered.

Also, our support team receives one and the provisioning workflow is initiated.

A controller will be internally assigned to your specific order, in charge of personally assuring the picking, shipping, and dozens of details required to ensure the best experience for you.
