Description

Overview

600 W The B60 is a 600 W, 50/200 kHz transducer that integrates Airmar’s popular, Tilted Element ™ feature. This Tilted Element transducer has the ceramic element fixed at either a 20° or 12° angle within the housing. When the transducer is installed almost flush to the hull, the tilt of the element corrects for the hull deadrise angle. By orienting the beam directly down, it ensures maximum echo returns to the transducer for more-accurate depth readings. Available in two Tilted Element models: Fixed 20° tilted version for 16 to 24° hull deadrise angles Fixed 12° tilted version for 8 to 15° hull deadrise angles

FAQs

What hull types is the B60 compatible with?

The B60 can be used on fiberglass or wood hulls as specified in its installation guidance.

Is the B60 suitable for installation on steep-deadrise hulls?

Yes, the B60 can be installed on steep-deadrise hulls up to 24°, with the beam aimed straight down for optimal returns.

What mounting guidance is given for the cap orientation?

Ensure the arrow on the cap points toward the keel when installed for correct alignment.

How do you determine the correct tilt angle for your transducer?

Measure your hull's deadrise at the mounting point with a protractor or digital level and match it to the appropriate tilt model.

Should the element tilt match the hull deadrise exactly?

Select the 12° model for 8° to 15° hull deadrise, and 20° model for 16° to 24° deadrise for proper tilt compensation.

Why is it important to match the tilt angle to the hull’s deadrise?

Correct tilt ensures the ceramic element is aimed at the bottom, resulting in stronger echo returns and accurate readings.

Can I ask for a proforma invoice instead of purchasing online?

For companies following internal purchasing processes or for individuals who feel better purchasing following traditional, "offline" processes, our customers can always ask for a proforma invoice, detailing the items you're interested in, their quantities, and, optionally, providing the billing and shipping address, and a phone number, for a better shipping estimate and fastest delivery once purchased.

If you're interested in a proforma invoice, please use the following form.

Which payment methods are accepted in the Online Shop?

We accept credit and debit cards, PayPal and also Apple Pay.

You can also pay by bank transfer, selecting this payment method at checkout. Once the order has been placed without paying money, in the next screen we will provide you the bank information required for the transfer.

Don't hesitate to contact us  if you want to do a bank transfer.

How long will delivery take?

We only use first-class delivery carriers, like UPS and DHL. There's an "Express Delivery" option for many shipping destinations available.

It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.

When you've placed your order, you can follow-up the shipping on the "My Account" section, with detail information about parcel status.

We will also notify you by email or SMS continously about each shipping activity.

Don't hesitate to contact us if you want products to be shipped using your own carrier.
