Description

Compatibility with corepack

This corepack works with yachts that have a Yamaha Helm Master system and requires a compatible Garmin plotter.

Ahrs of 9-AXIS solid state

The advanced 9-axis solid-state AHRS system allows you to install the Reactor 40 unit in virtually anywhere and orientation. It even reduces energy consumption, minimizes course errors and much more.

Ability to react to water conditions

Keep the course at sea: this autopilot reacts to the conditions, so you can maintain peace of mind even when nooing or rocking movements occur.

Simple calibration

All automatic pilots require a commissioning and calibration process. Reactor 40 makes it quick and easy.

Wireless remote functions

Control the autopilot from anywhere on the boat using your compatible Garmin devices, including the Reactor autopilot remote control, certain quatix® nautical watches and many more (requires a compatible Garmin plotter or a GHC 50 autopilot instrument).

FAQs

Can I manually run configuration steps outside the wizards?

Yes, on a helm control or compatible chartplotter, you can run compass calibration, autotune, or define north from the installation setup menu.

How do I perform the Dockside Wizard if no helm control is included?

If there's no helm control, use a compatible chartplotter on the same NMEA 2000 network as the autopilot CCU to run the Dockside Wizard.

Who should install the autopilot system?

The system should be installed by a qualified marine installer with specific knowledge of marine steering and electrical systems.

Can the Dockside Wizard be run with the boat out of water?

You can complete the Dockside Wizard while the boat is in or out of the water. If the boat is in the water, it must be stationary.

How do I select the speed source for the autopilot?

Select Tach. - N2K or Proprietary if RPM data is available over NMEA 2000. If not available, select GPS as a speed source. If neither is available, select None.

How is the autopilot compass calibrated?

Calibrate the compass during the Sea Trial Wizard or via the Compass Setup, keeping the boat steady and balanced. If calibration is unsuccessful, repeat or relocate the unit.

How do I test autopilot performance after setup?

Test at low speed with heading hold engaged, checking for oscillations or sluggish/misbehaving turns. Fine-tune using gain and acceleration limiter adjustments if needed.

How do I verify and correct settings after Dockside Wizard?

Review all values displayed at the end of the Dockside Wizard and individually correct any errors before finishing the setup.

Can I ask for a proforma invoice instead of purchasing online?

For companies following internal purchasing processes or for individuals who feel better purchasing following traditional, "offline" processes, our customers can always ask for a proforma invoice, detailing the items you're interested in, their quantities, and, optionally, providing the billing and shipping address, and a phone number, for a better shipping estimate and fastest delivery once purchased.

If you're interested in a proforma invoice, please use the following form.

Which payment methods are accepted in the Online Shop?

We accept credit and debit cards, PayPal and also Apple Pay.

You can also pay by bank transfer, selecting this payment method when checkout. Once the order has been placed without paying money, in the next screen we will provide you the bank information required for the transfer.

Don't hesitate to contact us  if you want to do a bank transfer.

How long will delivery take?

We only use first-class delivery carriers, like UPS and DHL. There's a "Express Delivery" option for many shipping destinations available.

It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.

When you've placed your order, you can follow-up the shipping on the "My Account" section, with detail information about parcel status.

We will also notify you by email or SMS continously about each shipping activity.

Don't hesitate to contact us if you want products to be shipped using your own carrier.
