No, the Garmin Connect app does not contact emergency services on your behalf. Assistance sends your location to an emergency contact only.
Can the device be opened or repaired by users?
The product does not contain user-serviceable parts, and only an authorized Garmin service center should perform repairs.
Is the battery in the Garmin quatix 7 user-replaceable or serviceable?
The battery is not user-replaceable. Attempting to remove or replace it may damage the device.
