With this portable kit¹ it is very easy to transport a STRIKER™ probe with GPS or echoMAP™ and the compatible echoMAP CHIRP combinations. Protect and transport your probe, and includes a sealed and rechargeable battery with smart charger, storage and space for integrated transducer cables, transducer support with suction cup and float.
When using the portable kit in a kayak, the optional transducer support for mounting on the interior wall of a kayak attaches the Garmin (77/200 kHz), CHIRP (77/200 kHz) or GT20-TM (77/200 kHz/ClearVü) transducer to the kayak. This support resists continuous immersion in the water without letting go and, in addition, protects the transducer inside the kayak.

A Phillips screwdriver is required to assemble the mount.
How do I attach the handle to the portable mount?
Attach the handle using two M4×0.7×40 screws and M4×7 mm nuts, as described in the instructions.
How is the transducer mounted with the suction cup?
The suction cup is attached to the transducer arm with the shorter screw before being mounted on your boat.
Can the transducer be used for ice fishing?
Yes, it can be configured with the included float for ice-fishing or dockside use.
How should the portable kit be secured in the bag?
Use the included hook and loop straps to secure the battery before placing the kit in the bag.
Are there any battery storage temperature recommendations?
Store the battery between 5° F to 104°F (from -15° C to 40° C) when not in use for extended periods.
What is the safe operating temperature range for the battery?
The battery should be operated between 5° F to 122° F (from -15° C to 50° C).
What should be done to prevent battery acid spills?
Keep the battery upright to avoid spilling the internal acid.
