Where standard strip lights leave visible LED dots in direct line of sight or reflecting on glossy surfaces, the cleverly designed diffusion layer of Lumishore’s Lux Superbright Neon Flex Strip Light blends the CRGBW LED light to create a beautiful, homogenous, dot-free experience.
Its bend-flex allows it to adjust around curved surfaces making it ideal for installing under gunwales, cabin headliners or T-tops.
With 180 LEDS per meter and an IP67 Ingress Protection Rating - the SNL180 is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation on your vessel (above water only).
Full spectrum CRGBW (cold white, red, green, blue, warm white) and white color temperature tuneable (from 2700k to 6500k) in a single neon flex strip.
Control by a momentary switch, or upgrade to full integration with your compatible MFD and/or Lumishore Display.
Neon Flex Strip Lights are dimmable as standard and powered by the Lux Strip Light Driver.

Do I need to disconnect vessel power before installation?
Yes. Always disconnect or isolate the vessel’s power source and battery before installation.
Should a professional install the strip (electrical and mechanical)?
Yes. The guide recommends that a qualified professional carry out both the electrical and mechanical installation.
Any special handling tips when uncoiling and installing?
Yes. Don’t uncoil by picking up one end; uncoil carefully along its length, and don’t let it drop or twist during installation.
Is the electrical installation described as plug-and-play?
Yes. The datasheet lists the electrical installation as “Plug and Play.”
What’s the minimum bend radius, and can it twist or bend vertically?
Minimum bend radius is 120mm. Do not bend it in the vertical axis or twist the strip during installation.
What input voltage range is specified for the SNL180 Neon Flex?
The installation guide lists an input range of 23–25V.
How do I confirm the strip is fully seated in the mounting clips?
After clips are installed, push the strip into the clips; a noticeable “Click” indicates it’s secure.
How is the Neon Flex mechanically mounted and secured?
It installs with the supplied stainless steel clips: screw the clips in place, then push the strip into the clips until you feel a noticeable “Click”.
Should it be installed in strong, direct sunlight?
The guide advises against installing it in areas of strong direct sunlight.
