The fully controllable color change TIX404 underwater light delivers the greatest range of colors and offers a powerful 7,500 verified fixture lumens and an ultra-wide 110° beam angle for the ultimate halo-effect.
Control colors, modes & special effects directly from your MFD and/or the optional Lumishore Display.
All Lumishore Thru-Hulls are ‘flush-fit’ with extremely low profiles. TIX models have the added benefit of an internal LED array and integrated driver, for the ability to service from inside the hull and to simplify installation.

Where should the system components be mounted?
The installation guide instructs mounting the unit in a dry, well-ventilated location.
Can I unscrew/remove the cartridge from the light body?
No. The mechanical installation section warns not to remove the cartridge; doing so can damage the LED module and invalidate the warranty.
When is an isolation sleeve kit required, and should the light be bonded?
The guide says wood, metal, or carbon fibre hull installations require an isolation sleeve kit, and in that case you should NOT bond the lights.
What sealant does the installation guide recommend?
The tool list specifies: “Marine Sealant (Use only 3M 4200)”.
Can I cut or extend the light’s supplied cable during installation?
No. The guide states the light’s cable should not be cut or extended; use the available extension cables instead.
How far below the waterline should the light be installed?
The guide recommends installing the light 6”–10” (150–250mm) below the minimum load waterline.
How low-profile is the TIX404 housing once installed?
The datasheet lists the profile (height) of the housing as 8mm (0.32”).
What spacing is recommended when installing multiple lights?
For best results, the guide recommends spacing lights between 2.5ft (0.8m) and 6.5ft (2m) apart.
Can I install or remove the light while the boat is in the water?
No. The guide says never try to install or remove the light with the vessel in the water.
Do power connections need to be waterproofed?
Yes. The guide says all power connections must be made waterproof, using a suitable junction box or waterproof connectors.
What is the maximum tightening torque for the retaining bolts?
Do not over-tighten. The guide states a force of 3Nm on each bolt should not be exceeded.
Does each light need its own fuse or circuit breaker?
Yes. The guide says to use a suitable fuse/circuit breaker and that “Each light” should be “individually fused.”
What is the light face diameter for the TIX404/TIX40?
The datasheet specifies a light face diameter of 88mm (3.47”).

The estimated time until you receive your order is the preparation time plus the carrier transit time.
Order preparation: check the dispatch estimate on the product page. This is the time needed before your order is handed over to the carrier.
Standard shipping — estimated transit after dispatch:
• European Union and United Kingdom: 2–4 business days.
• United States: 3–6 business days.
• Other destinations: 3–7 business days.
Express shipping: where available for your address, you can select it at checkout. Transit estimates depend on the destination and service offered. Refer to any estimate displayed at checkout; if no estimate is shown, contact us before ordering if your delivery is time-sensitive. Express applies to transport only and does not shorten preparation time.
Transit starts when the carrier receives your parcel, not when you place your order. These are estimates, not guaranteed arrival dates. Customs processing, public holidays and remote delivery areas may extend transit times.
