Unlike traditional wind sensors, Airmar WeatherStations deliver accurate wind speed and direction from moving vehicles. By combining GNSS positioning, a stabilized 3-axis compass, and motion sensing, they continuously correct apparent wind caused by movement to deliver calculated Dynamic True wind speed and direction.
Whether mounted on an agricultural sprayer, sailboat, weather vehicle, or autonomous platform, the wind data remains accurate — even while you’re moving. A Complete Environmental Picture In a single compact instrument, the 300WX provides a holistic view of environmental conditions — wind speed and direction, temperature, barometric pressure, relative humidity, heat index and wind chill, vessel or vehicle motion, and GNSS positioning. It measures both the weather around you and the motion of the platform beneath it.
