he GuardXP AIS transponder is an essential piece of equipment for any boater, skipper or professional sailing on small to medium-sized boats. At the heart of the AIS system, the transponder enables the automatic transmission and reception of data via VHF waves. It therefore acts as an interface exchanging information between your boat and other nearby ships and equipped shore stations. Thanks to this instrument, your boat becomes visible on the AIS screens of the boats around you, even in poor visibility, at night or in areas with high maritime traffic.

Our GuardXP and GuardXP+ AIS transponders (with different ranges) have a very high reception sensitivity. The transponder's WiFi network, through which it broadcasts AIS and GPS data, provides easy access to the device's configuration and maintenance interface.

Features:

The AIS Class B transponder is an autonomous on-board communication device, capable of automatically receiving and transmitting your boat's navigation data through a built-in GPS and a VHF interface.
Our AIS transponders are equipped with several connection ports:
  • 1 NMEA 2000 connector: to connect, for example, a plotter
  • 1 NMEA 0183 Multiplexer: NMEA 0183 input/output to interface with displays, sensors, etc.
  • 1 GPS antenna (without mount): supplied with our transponders
  • 1 AIS / VHF antenna (not included): it is possible to use the VHF antenna for both the VHF radio and the AIS transponder by installing a suitable VHF antenna splitter such as our SplitXP.

Standard shipping — estimated transit after dispatch:
• European Union and United Kingdom: 2–4 business days.
• United States: 3–6 business days.
• Other destinations: 3–7 business days.

Express shipping: where available for your address, you can select it at checkout. Transit estimates depend on the destination and service offered. Refer to any estimate displayed at checkout; if no estimate is shown, contact us before ordering if your delivery is time-sensitive. Express applies to transport only and does not shorten preparation time.

Transit starts when the carrier receives your parcel, not when you place your order. These are estimates, not guaranteed arrival dates. Customs processing, public holidays and remote delivery areas may extend transit times.

Also, our support team receives one and the provisioning workflow is initiated.

A controller will be internally assigned to your specific order, in charge of personally assuring the picking, shipping, and dozens of details required to ensure the best experience for you.

Once the shipment process begins, you will start receiving notifications both by email and SMS on your mobile phone constantly updating about shipment status, which will be specially relevant in cross-border shipments, for yachts in transit, and to avoid many different issues than can occur during domestic and international shipments. Our delivery guarantee without issues exceeds 99,5%, greatly increasing the sector average, due to continuous supervision of the shipping agents and constant updates provided to our customers, ensuring both parties are acknowledged about each shipping process step.
