No, use the mounting template included in the box. Printing your own may result in improper sizing and incorrect cutouts.
How do you switch between multiple FLIR camera video streams?
Dual payload FLIR models allow you to connect IR and V/IR cables for multiple video streams on compatible chartplotters.
How do you enable camera tracking features on compatible chartplotters?
Camera tracking can be enabled by connecting a tracking-capable marine camera, a GPS antenna, and a heading sensor (preferably providing 9-axis data) to the chartplotter network via Garmin Marine Network or NMEA 2000 network.
What happens if the mounting template is not the correct size?
An incorrectly sized template can cause an improper cutout on the mounting surface of your boat.
Can you wire Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices directly to the Garmin Marine Network?
No. Connecting a PoE device directly to a chartplotter damages it. Use a Garmin PoE isolation coupler for connection.
How can you switch between thermal and visible camera views?
You can switch between thermal and visible camera views on the chartplotter screen for dual-payload M-series cameras by selecting from the menu options on the video screen.
How do you connect a FLIR M-Series camera to the chartplotter?
Use an Ethernet cable and a Garmin PoE isolation coupler (010-10580-10). For composite video, use the correct adapter.
