Our CCU is the brain of the Reactor 40 autopilot system, which contains the sensory equipment used to determine the course and rotational speed. Connect the CCU to the ship's navigation system and the NMEA 2000® network to establish communication with your GHC™ 20 and with optional devices compatible with NMEA 2000.

What are the key installation requirements for the Reactor 40 CCU?
The autopilot system should be installed by a qualified marine installer, as installation requires specific knowledge of hydraulic steering componentry and marine electrical systems.
What calibration is necessary after installing the CCU?

Compass calibration should be performed with the boat as steady and flat as possible. Calibration quality is indicated by a value up to 100; a low value may mean the CCU must be relocated and recalibrated.
