Overview
CB adjustable genoa lead cars feature recirculating Torlon® ball bearings for easy adjustment under full sheet loads. Stainless steel sheave carriers pivot 60 degrees to accommodate changing lead angles. Wide sheave holds two sheets during sail changes. Sheave carriers feature ESP sleeve bearing sheaves. Cars feature car-mounted, sleeve-bearing control blocks for strength and durability. All CB genoa lead cars are compatible with Harken end controls. Kits are available for purchase upgrades up to 4:1. Torlon is a registered trademark of Solvay Advanced Polymers L.L.C.

What should you inspect regularly on the car and end controls?
Inspect retaining screws and control block fittings for loosening. Replace as needed, ensuring every installation includes Harken track endstops.
Are there any safety precautions during installation or use?
Strictly follow all instructions to avoid damage, injury, or death. Additional safety info is available in Harken manuals.
What steps are involved in installing the genoa lead car on the track?
Install the forward end control, position the car at the track end with the control block toward the bow, and gently roll the car onto the track. Ensure you are using CB track, and do not remove ball retaining wires.
Are the CB cars compatible with all track types?
CB cars are shipped for use on CB track with grooves at the waist. Compatibility with older tracks may require conversion of CB+ cars.
How do you attach the splice to the deadend on the car or controls?
Loosen one deadend eyestrap screw, remove the other, and rotate the bail to capture the splice loop. Reinstall screws with threadlocker adhesive.
What cleaning agents should be avoided on the track or car?
Teak cleaners and other caustic solutions can cause discoloration and are not covered by Harken's warranty.
How do you load ball bearings into the car?
With the retaining clip in place, gently push one ball at a time into the car from the center of the clip, allowing balls to roll into the return race. Do not overfill the car.
How do you remove ball bearings from the car?
With the retaining clip in place, position the car on edge and gently push one ball at a time from the center of the clip. Do not remove the retaining clip from the car.
What control line attachment methods are supported?
For a smaller control line, pass the eye through the deadend eyestrap and run the tail through to make a hitch without undoing screws.
Can CB+ cars be converted to fit non-CB track?
CB+ cars can be converted for use on old-style non-CB track. Complete conversion instructions are in the manual.

Which payment methods are accepted in the Online Shop?
We accept credit and debit cards, PayPal and also Apple Pay.

How long will delivery take?
We only use first-class delivery carriers, like UPS and DHL. There's a "Express Delivery" option for many shipping destinations available.
It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.
When you've placed your order, you can follow-up the shipping on the "My Account" section, with detail information about parcel status.
We will also notify you by email or SMS continously about each shipping activity.
