Overview
NOTE: Airmar introduced the 300WX WeatherStation Instruments in April of 2026 to replace the 200WX models. Inventory of 200WX will be in short supply through mid 2026.
Please contact our sales team about transitioning to 300WX. The WeatherStation 200WX is the best choice for mobile, weather-monitoring applications. Sensor rich, in a durable, rugged, small housing that is IPX6 rated, means the 200WX can be used on moving platforms such as TV-news and military vehicles. Knowing the dynamic true wind speed and direction is important and often mission-critical.
The 200WX calculates the dynamic true wind speed and direction based upon the apparent wind (the wind you would feel on your hand if you held it out while moving), speed of the vehicle, and vehicle heading.
Its internal 10 Hz GPS and three-axis electronic compass provide heading, position, speed-over-ground, and course-over-ground functionality that is necessary for dynamic true wind-data processing on a moving vehicle. The 3D compass with dynamic stabilization provided by the three-axis rate gyro enhances the rate-of-turn data.
The patented 200WX maintains dynamic compass performance in hilly and mountainous terrain—common in military situations.

How long will delivery take?
The estimated time until you receive your order is the preparation time plus the carrier transit time.

Standard shipping — estimated transit after dispatch:

• United States: 3–6 business days.
• Other destinations: 3–7 business days.
Express shipping: where available for your address, you can select it at checkout. Transit estimates depend on the destination and service offered. Express applies to transport only and does not shorten preparation time.

A controller will be internally assigned to your specific order, in charge of personally assuring the picking, shipping, and dozens of details required to ensure the best experience for you.
Once the shipment process begins, you will start receiving notifications both by email and SMS on your mobile phone constantly updating about shipment status, which will be specially relevant in cross-border shipments, for yachts in transit, and to avoid many different issues than can occur during domestic and international shipments.
