Description
Cut your strip lights to the length you require! Lumishore's LUX Cut & Seal Strip Lights are an excellent solution to your mood lighting needs, while providing incredible flexibility.
Full spectrum - cold white, red, green, blue, warm white and white color temperature tuneable (from 2700k to 6500k) available in a single LED strip.
They come with a connector at both ends. By cutting the strip to length it allows you to create 2 strips out of any standard strip light length* (cut points are spaced at 100mm intervals). A sealing kit is provided, including glue and end caps to seal the cut end of the LED strip, making it completely watertight.
Controlled by a momentary switch, with the option to upgrade to full integration with your compatible MFD and/or Lumishore Display.
Dimmable as standard and powered by a Strip Light Driver.

What safety step should be taken before starting installation?
Disconnect or isolate the vessel’s power source and battery before installation.
Does installation need to be done by a qualified professional?
Yes. The guide states that both electrical and mechanical installation should be carried out by a qualified professional.
When are mechanical fasteners recommended in addition to the adhesive?
For outdoor installation, wet areas, or tight bend radii, mechanical fasteners are recommended in addition to the adhesive layer.
What is the stated power rating per meter?
The installation guide states a power rating of 5 watts per meter.
For outdoor/wet installs, how far apart should mounting fasteners be placed?
When using fastening clips, place fasteners every 25–30 cm apart and/or at either side of a bend.
Are there any restrictions on installing it in direct sunlight?
Yes. It should not be installed in areas of strong direct sunlight.
How should the mounting surface be prepared before sticking the strip down?
Clean the mounting surface using IPA and ensure it is dust- and dirt-free before applying the adhesive backing.
How long should the sealed end cap cure before handling?
After fitting the end cap with the supplied silicone adhesive, allow it to cure for 24 hours before handling.
How long should the adhesive set before turning the strip light on?
After pressing the strip into place with the adhesive backing, allow the adhesive to set for 24 hours before switching it on.
What is the minimum bend radius, and which direction can it bend?
Minimum bend radius is 50mm in the vertical axis. Do not bend in the horizontal axis or twist the strip.
Where are you allowed to cut the strip light?
Only cut on the marked cut points. The datasheet also notes it is cut in 100mm steps.
Is it only suitable for above-water applications?
Yes. The datasheet specifies it is for above-water applications only.

Which payment methods are accepted in the Online Shop?
We accept credit and debit cards, PayPal and also Apple Pay.
You can also pay by bank transfer, selecting this payment method when checkout. Once the order has been placed without paying money, in the next screen we will provide you the bank information required for the transfer.

How long will delivery take?
We only use first-class delivery carriers, like UPS and DHL. There's a "Express Delivery" option for many shipping destinations available.
It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.
When you've placed your order, you can follow-up the shipping on the "My Account" section, with detail information about parcel status.
We will also notify you by email or SMS continously about each shipping activity.
