FAQs
Are there mounting surface preparation guidelines?
Predrill mounting holes with a 3mm or 9/64'' drill bit and use supplied screws. Investigate mounting area to avoid wires or fuel lines.
How should the remote turn-on wire be connected?
Connect to a switched +12V source, such as the head unit’s remote output or power antenna wire.
How should the amplifier be powered and fused?
Connect directly to battery via appropriately sized cable. Use an inline fuse or circuit breaker close to the battery.
What speaker load is required for stable operation?
A minimum impedance of 2 ohms stereo or 4 ohms bridged mono is required for trouble-free operation.
How should ground wiring be handled for this amplifier?
Use the same gauge cable for ground as for power. Secure to a suitable ground point, connect ground first, then +12V.
How should clearance be managed when mounting the amplifier in tight spaces?
If mounting in an enclosed space, use a small 3-inch fan and ducting to direct heat away from the heatsink.
How should the amplifier be mounted for best performance?
Select a location with enough airflow and protection from moisture. Never mount upside down. Leave at least 2.5" clearance around the amplifier.
Any advice for routing RCA cables to reduce noise?
Run RCA cables away from power cables, large wire looms, and fans. Place RCA on the opposite side of power cables.
How does the RCA line out/passthrough function in a multi-amp setup?
The RCA line out provides a summed output from RCA input connectors, allowing linking of multiple amplifiers for enhanced system performance.
What does the power/status LED indicate?
The LED shows if the amplifier is powered up and if any faults are present.
How do you use the variable bass boost and subsonic filter?
Bass boost is adjustable from 0 to +18dB at 45Hz. Subsonic filter removes sub-bass below 20-55Hz (adjustable).
Is the circuitry protected from marine elements?
Yes, it uses conformal coated circuitry for protection against salt air and moisture.
How do I set the input level for optimal sound quality?
Set the amplifier level to MIN, head unit to 3/4 volume, then increase the level slowly until desired volume without distortion.

Can I ask for a proforma invoice instead of purchasing online?
For companies following internal purchasing processes or for individuals who feel better purchasing following traditional, "offline" processes, our customers can always ask for a proforma invoice, detailing the items you're interested in, their quantities, and, optionally, providing the billing and shipping address, and a phone number, for a better shipping estimate and fastest delivery once purchased.
If you're interested in a proforma invoice, please use the following form.
Which payment methods are accepted in the Online Shop?
We accept credit and debit cards, PayPal and also Apple Pay.
You can also pay by bank transfer, selecting this payment method when checkout. Once the order has been placed without paying money, in the next screen we will provide you the bank information required for the transfer.
Don't hesitate to contact us if you want to do a bank transfer.
How long will delivery take?
We only use first-class delivery carriers, like UPS and DHL. There's a "Express Delivery" option for many shipping destinations available.
It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.
