The 5G onBoard Plus Black नावों के लिए एक ऑल-इन-वन सुपर-फास्ट इंटरनेट सिस्टम है, जो एक साथ 150 उपयोगकर्ताओं तक 5G कनेक्टिविटी प्रदान करता है। 5G onBoard Plus, Scout 4G कनेक्टिविटी सिस्टम का अगला विकसित संस्करण है, जिसे विशेष रूप से समुद्री वातावरण में अधिकतम नेविगेशन प्रदर्शन, डाउनलोड और अपलोड दोनों में, प्रदान करने के लिए डिज़ाइन और परीक्षण किया गया है। इस सिस्टम में 25 cm व्यास का एक बिल्कुल नया डोम शामिल है, जो वायुमंडलीय प्रभावों और सूर्यप्रकाश के प्रति प्रतिरोधी ASA से बना है, इसका डिज़ाइन elegant और compact है, तथा इसमें dual SIM card system वाला latest generation router है, जो अधिकतम 3.3 Gbps तक पहुँचने में सक्षम है, reinforced aluminum body के साथ, और dedicated app के माध्यम से remote रूप से पूरी तरह configurable है।

5G onBoard Plus के साथ नाव एक professional Internet connectivity centre में बदल जाती है, dedicated high-speed wireless network (Dual-band WiFi 5) और router के Ethernet ports द्वारा प्रबंधित ultra-fast wired network की बदौलत। नई पीढ़ी के सभी electronic devices Internet network से जोड़े जा सकते हैं: chartplotters, radios, smart TVs, IP cameras, tablets, smartphones, आदि। 5G connection speed Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus जैसी platforms पर HD streaming, साथ ही Spotify जैसी music streaming services और कई अन्य सेवाएँ, आसानी से संभव बनाती है।

डोम के अंदर मौजूद 4 शक्तिशाली 5G antennas की बदौलत, 5G onBoard Plus system आपको तट से 20 miles तक की दूरी पर भी 5G network से connected रहने की सुविधा देता है। 5G signal के विफल होने की स्थिति में, यह system 4G और 3G technology के साथ भी पूरी तरह backward compatible है।

नया 5G router latest generation technical features से लैस है, जो नाव पर बहुत high-speed wireless और wired network बनाने की अनुमति देते हैं; external dome के साथ low-loss cable connection सुनिश्चित करता है कि router अपनी पूरी क्षमता पर काम करे, और download तथा upload times बहुत कम रहें। Setup और router का remote control, दोनों को iOS (Apple) और Android के लिए उपलब्ध एक नए user-friendly app के माध्यम से manage किया जा सकता है।

RMS एक client-server-based system है, जो public IP address के उपयोग के बिना भी router तक remotely पहुँचने की सुविधा प्रदान करता है। इस तरह device temperature, mobile signal quality और data usage जैसे विभिन्न status changes के history को track करना काफी आसान हो जाता है, जिससे यह सुनिश्चित होता है कि समय के साथ कोई जानकारी lost न हो।
