HIGH-POWERED Radar
This 120-watt solid-state radar has a range from 20’ to 96 nautical miles, even in fog or rain. It offers rotation speeds of 24 RPM for reduced power consumption and 48 RPM for fast screen updates.
HIGH-RESOLUTION Radar
The 1.8-degree horizontal beamwidth provides a high-resolution image and high antenna gain to pick out even weak targets at a distance.
Motionscope Technology
MotionScope uses the Doppler effect to detect moving targets and highlight them in different colors so you can navigate around other boats or severe weather — or toward fishing spots where birds feed at the surface.

Yes, the grommet can be trimmed to route multiple cables, but marine sealant must be used as the grommet alone is not waterproof.

The ground cable is not included; you must supply a 3.31 mm² (12 AWG) copper wire for grounding.

It should be high above the keel line with minimal blockage, as obstructions can cause blind/shadow sectors.
Should the device be opened for servicing by the user?
It should only be opened by a Garmin authorized service technician; user-servicing may void the warranty.
Should I use voltage converters from previous radar models?
You must only use the included or specifically recommended Garmin converter. Third-party or previous model converters can damage the radar or prevent operation.
