Overview

The newest Zircon offerings are six models with 29 mm sheave diameters. These expand the Zircon offering from eight models to eighteen. Zircon is not an all-purpose alternative—no block is. But these smaller sizes make Zircon appropriate for control lines where multi-part purchases are required. Zircon reacts immediately. So, when the pressure gets light and you ease that 24:1 Cunningham rigged under the deck or want to let the jib lead forward for some more power through the chop, you will get response.

Avoid lashing or attaching in line with the seam, which can cause the block to split apart and fail. Lash through both cheeks instead.

What maintenance routine is suggested for the block?

Clean frequently with detergent and fresh water, applying to the sheave, ceramic bearings, and sideplate areas while rotating parts.

What is the proper mounting orientation for lashings?

The lashing must go through both block cheeks to maintain structural integrity and prevent the block from being split by force.

Can an additional block be installed on the becket for increased purchase?

If adding a block to the becket, ensure the load on it is no more than 1/3 that of the upper block. Do not add a fully loaded separate system.

How should I maintain the Harken Zircon Block?

Which payment methods are accepted in the Online Shop?

We accept credit and debit cards, PayPal and also Apple Pay.

You can also pay by bank transfer, selecting this payment method when checkout. Once the order has been placed without paying money, in the next screen we will provide you the bank information required for the transfer.

How long will delivery take?

We only use first-class delivery carriers, like UPS and DHL. There's a "Express Delivery" option for many shipping destinations available.

It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.

When you've placed your order, you can follow-up the shipping on the "My Account" section, with detail information about parcel status.

We will also notify you by email or SMS continously about each shipping activity.
