Can I create my own connection for PoE/IP cameras to the Garmin Marine Network?
You must use a Garmin Power over Ethernet (PoE) isolation coupler when connecting standard Ethernet cameras to avoid damage.
Should the GPSMAP device replace official government charts?
No, it should not replace official government charts. Electronic charts are for facilitating navigation only.
How many video streams can be viewed simultaneously for best performance?
Garmin recommends streaming no more than five video sources at the same time for best network performance.
What should I do if the video displays but I cannot control the FLIR camera?
Check that the correct video input source on the chartplotter is associated with the FLIR camera and that the correct camera is selected.
