Harken® ball bearing traveler cars with multipart purchases allow easy adjustment of loaded sails from the cockpit. T2705B and T2705B.HL lightweight soft-attachment cars provide a variet of rigging solutions—athwartship jib or mainsheet systems, for example. Lash Carbo T2™ blocks to the car for traveler control.

How do I properly install the traveler car onto the track?

Position the car at the end of the track and gently roll on. Make sure you are using CB track with retaining clips installed.

Can I use this car on unsupported track spans?

Harken high-beam track can handle unsupported spans, but span capacity depends on the car load and car length.

What material is the car body made from?

The one-piece car body is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum for strength and durability.

What guidelines should be followed for control block attachment?

Harken stand-up toggles fit specific blocks; for mainsheet block compatibility, check 4501 instructions as noted in the manual.

What type of track does the T2705B car fit?

CB cars fit CB track with grooves at the waist to accept retaining clips first supplied by Harken in 2002.

Can this car be used on older (non-CB) track?

CB+ cars can convert to run on old-style, non-CB track. See full instructions in the manual.

How do I attach a mainsheet or control block to the T2705B?

To attach loops or straps, remove stop screws and push stand-up toggle attachment post out. Use blue Loctite on screws.

How often should I inspect the car and its fittings?

Frequently inspect shackles and control block fittings for signs of fatigue. Replace as necessary.

Should I lubricate the bearings, and what should I use?

Do not use spray lubricants. Use 1-2 drops of McLube OneDrop or light machine oil. Too much oil attracts dirt.

What are the care instructions for the track itself?

Track should be cleaned with detergent and water. Avoid some teak cleaners and caustic solutions to prevent discoloration.

How do I remove ball bearings from the CB car?

Position car on edge and gently push one ball at a time from center of retaining clip. Do not remove retaining clip from car.

How do I attach a soft loop or strap to the T2705B car?

Remove stop screws, push out the stand-up toggle attachment post, fit the loop or strap, and reassemble with blue Loctite on screws.

How long will delivery take?

We only use first-class delivery carriers, like UPS and DHL. There's an "Express Delivery" option for many shipping destinations available.

It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.

When you've placed your order, you can follow-up the shipping on the "My Account" section, with detail information about parcel status.

We will also notify you by email or SMS continously about each shipping activity.
