Description
Lumishore's ultra-slim thru-hull THX204 has a small hull cut out requirement of only 5/8” (16.5mm). Choose from 2 LED colors: blue or white.
The THX204 features 6,100 fixture lumens and an ultra-wide 110°beam angle, allowing the light to saturate deep into the water.
With a simple 2-wire installation and no external drivers, it's one of the easiest thru-hull lights to install and is suitable for transom and side hull installations.
Control the THX204 by a standard on/off switch.

How far below the waterline should the light be installed?
Lumishore recommends mounting the light 4–12 in (100–300 mm) below the minimum load water line for best underwater illumination.
Do I need to disconnect boat power before installing the THX204?
Yes. The instructions say to disconnect or isolate the vessel’s power source and battery prior to installation.
Are there mounting surface/location constraints (flat hull, transom, side hull)?
Yes. It must be mounted on a flat (not curved) surface, and underwater installs should be on the transom or side hull only.
What sealant/adhesive is recommended for installing the thru-hull?
Use marine sealant such as 3M 4200 (recommended) or similar, applied as instructed around the sealant groove and base areas.
How tight should the retaining bolts be during install?
Initially tighten the retaining bolts hand tight (less than 1 Nm). After sealant cures, re-tighten using a 5mm Allen wrench to less than 3 Nm.
How should the light be cleaned, and what should be avoided?
Clean with a soft cloth or soft bristled brush. Do not use abrasive materials, solvent/acid/alkali cleaners, pressure washing, or sandblasting.
What water ingress (IP) rating is specified for the THX204?
The datasheet specifies an IP68 water ingress protection rating.
Should I test the THX204 before the boat goes back in the water?
Yes. The instructions say to test the lights and confirm they work as expected before the boat goes back in the water.
