HIGH-POWERED Radar
This 120-watt solid-state radar has a range from 20’ to 96 nautical miles, even in fog or rain. It offers rotation speeds of 24 RPM for reduced power consumption and 48 RPM for fast screen updates.
HIGH-RESOLUTION Radar
The 1.8-degree horizontal beamwidth provides a high-resolution image and high antenna gain to pick out even weak targets at a distance.
Motionscope Technology
MotionScope uses the Doppler effect to detect moving targets and highlight them in different colors so you can navigate around other boats or severe weather — or toward fishing spots where birds feed at the surface.
Intuitive Operation

How should the mounting surface be prepared before radar installation?
Secure the mounting template along the bow-stern axis, drill mounting holes with a 15 mm bit, and a 32 mm hole for cable routing if needed.
Should a voltage converter from a previous Garmin radar be used in this installation?
No. Do not reuse any voltage converters from previous Garmin radar models or third party converters. Only use one included with the radar or purchased from Garmin.
Can the radar be installed by non-professionals?
It is recommended that a qualified marine installer perform the installation to ensure safety and optimal device performance.
What safety gear should be used during installation?
Wear safety goggles, ear protection, and a dust mask when drilling, cutting, or sanding during installation.
What should be done before installing the cable cover?
Mount the radar, route all cables, and connect them to the radar pedestal before installing the cable cover with the attached screws.
How should radar network connections be made?
Connect the device to Garmin BlueNet or Garmin Marine Network, using supplied cables and required adapters. Use the proper port on the radar and chartplotter or switch.
What torque values should be used when mounting components?
Tighten the hex nuts to a torque of 14.7 N-m (11 lbf-ft.) when mounting the radar to the surface, and the antenna hex bolts to 7.9 N-m (6 lbf-ft.).
How are network connections made for Garmin and non-Garmin systems?
Connect to a Garmin BlueNet chartplotter or switch with the included cable, or use an adapter to connect to a Garmin Marine Network device.
How should the power cable fuse be handled?
Do not remove the in-line fuse holder. The appropriate fuse must be in place as indicated in the product specifications; removing it may void the warranty.
How is antenna size specified during initial setup?
On first power up, your chartplotter will prompt you to select the installed antenna size for the open-array radar.

It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.
