Designed to take advantage of the GLONASS system or satellite constellations, in addition to the standard GPS, this sturdy outdoor antenna incorporates a water-resistant low-profile housing and provides three simple mounting solutions: pole, surface or under deck (for the bottom of fiberglass covers).
The external GPS and GLONASS antennas provide greater flexibility and more installation options, as well as the power necessary to achieve better reception of the GPS or GLONASS signal, for products with built-in GPS or GLONASS antennas.

The GA 38 uses a BNC connector to attach to the ANTENNA or EXT GPS port on compatible Garmin chartplotters.
How should the cable be routed when using the pole mount adapter?
Cable can be routed outside or through the pole; fill any gap in the cable slot with marine sealant (optional) after installation.
What safety precautions should be followed during installation?
Wear safety goggles, ear protection, and a dust mask when drilling, cutting, or sanding. Check the opposite side before drilling/cutting.
What type of pole is required for pole mounting?
A standard 1 in. OD, 14 threads per inch, pipe-threaded pole is required (not included).
What are the recommended steps for surface mounting the GA 38 antenna?
To surface mount, use the bracket as a template for pilot holes, drill holes, secure the bracket, route the cable, and lock the antenna with the included set screw.
What is the recommended compass-safe distance for the antenna?
Maintain at least 114 mm (4.5 in.) between the antenna and any compass.
Can the GA 38 antenna be damaged by magnets?
Do not install or store near strong magnets, including speakers, as a strong magnetic field can damage the antenna.
What mounting options are available for the GA 38 antenna?
You can mount the GA 38 on a flat surface, on a pole (1 in. OD, 14 threads per inch), or under a fiberglass deck.

It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.
