It is not recommended. Use the template that came in the product box for accurate installation.
How do you secure the unit after using the adapter plate?
Use nut plates and screws included with the chartplotter to secure it to the adapter plate and mounting surface.
How do I verify pilot hole locations during mounting with the adapter plate?
After drilling, place the adapter plate over the opening again to verify the pilot hole locations.
How can both infrared and daylight video be displayed from a dual payload FLIR camera?
On dual-payload FLIR models, composite video cables labeled V/IR and IR-only allow both streams to be displayed in a single chartplotter screen if both are connected.
How do you view both IR and visible video on dual-payload FLIR cameras?
Connect both V/IR and IR-only cables to chartplotters with video encoders to view both streams in a combination screen.
Is special hardware or wiring needed for PoE cameras on Garmin marine networks?
A Garmin PoE isolation coupler must be used for connecting standard Ethernet PoE devices to avoid equipment damage.
If the chartplotter cannot access your camera, what should you do?
Reset your camera password to factory defaults if a message appears that the device cannot connect due to password mismatch.
If video displays but FLIR camera control does not work, what should I check?
Verify the correct video input source on the chartplotter is associated with the FLIR camera.
What is the limit for simultaneous video streams over the marine network?
Garmin recommends streaming no more than five video sources simultaneously for best network performance.

It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.

We will also notify you by email or SMS continously about each shipping activity.
