Where does the plastic sealant washer go during installation?
Install the supplied plastic sealant washer between the deck and the bottom of the track to help keep sealant contained in the hole.
What type of traveler installation is this end control intended for?
It’s intended for high beam traveler installations where the control lines are led along the cabintop to cleats or clutches.
How should traveler cars be cleaned for maintenance?
Flush frequently with fresh water. Periodically squirt a detergent/water solution into the center openings, roll the car to distribute, then flush bearings with fresh water.
Should I bevel the deck holes when installing the track/end controls?
Yes. The instructions say to bevel the top of the hole so sealant can mass in that area.
Are mounting bolts included with the E3250HB end controls?
No. The manual lists the mounting bolts as “Not Included,” so you’ll need to source the correct fasteners separately.
How is the end control fastened under the deck?
Install it using large washers or a backing plate below the nuts under the deck.
Can I use US imperial equivalent mounting bolt sizes?
No. The manual notes the US imperial equivalent size will not fit.
Do I need special track preparation for mounting these end controls?
Yes. The manual states that track ends must be anodized and recommends ordering track cut-to-length with end control mounting holes drilled.
What lubricant guidance is given for traveler car bearings?
Do not use spray lubricants (bearings may skid). The manual advises applying a few drops of McLube OneDrop (or small amounts of light machine oil).
