For best results with XAS clutch installation, use the recommended deck organiser model T38 and check the rope size/load graph.
Can the XAS with this base be side‑mounted?
Yes — it can be side‑mounted on either side but requires the fairing kit XAS‑SMNT for side mounting.
Is the XAS-BASE0408 modular or serviceable?
The product is modular and designed to be easy to upgrade and maintain.
What safe working load (SWL – Safe Working Load) applies with this base fitted?
When used for 4–8mm lines the XAS0408 variants are rated at 450kg SWL.
What line diameters is the XAS-BASE0408 optimised for?
The base module is optimised for small-diameter lines in the 4–8mm range.
Can a regular XAS0612 be converted to work with small lines?
Yes. Regular XAS0612 can be converted for small diameters by fitting the XAS-BASE0408 base module.

Yes. The small-diameter XAS version is strongly recommended for sportsboat and other small boat high‑performance applications.
What fastener pattern/sizes are used on XAS0408 variants?
Fastener counts vary by variant: options use 2, 4 or 6 M6 fasteners (1/4”).

We only use first-class delivery carriers, like UPS and DHL. There's an "Express Delivery" option for many shipping destinations available.
It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.
When you've placed your order, you can follow-up the shipping on the "My Account" section, with detail information about parcel status.
We will also notify you by email or SMS continously about each shipping activity.
