It is not recommended to print a mounting template yourself. Use the template provided with the product box for proper sizing.

What should I do if resistance is felt when feeding cables during installation?

If you experience resistance, back the cables out about 1 inch and try again to prevent cable damage.

Is the trolling motor supported by the cables during removal or installation?

Do not support the motor by the cables; only pull on the cables themselves.

How do you prepare bolts for the propeller drive motor installation?

Place a washer and a 4.75 mm (3/16 in.) O-ring on each bolt before use, and apply grease to the O-ring.

How should power and transducer cables be routed during installation?

Only bundle the power and any existing transducer cables (not the LiveScope cable) with electrical tape every 15 cm (6 in).

What should be checked before stowing the trolling motor after LiveScope installation?

Firmly tighten all LiveScope bracket adjustment knobs before each use.

Is there a specific order or note for cable routing during installation?

Bundle the power and any existing transducer cables in a triangular pattern with the transducer cable leading by about 3 inches. Only bundle the existing power and transducer cables – not the LiveScope cable.

Should I use the provided mounting template or print my own?

It is not recommended to print your own template. Instead, use the one provided in the product box to ensure accuracy.

What torque is used for the mounting puck’s hex screw?

Tighten the hex head screw on the mounting puck to 7 N-m (62 lbf-in).

Should existing screws be reused when reattaching the nose cone or skeg?

Yes, keep and reuse all screws and parts from removing the nose cone and skeg since you'll reinstall them.

When installing the propeller drive motor, should old bolts be reused?

Do not reuse the old bolts. New screws, washers, and O-rings are provided in the kit and should be used for reassembly.

Can the LiveScope transducer be mounted on either side of the trolling motor shaft?

Yes, you may mount your LiveScope transducer on either the starboard side or the port side of your trolling motor shaft.

What torque should be used for securing the propeller drive motor?

Tighten all six bolts to 4 N-m (35 lbf-in) using a torque wrench.

What’s a key safety step to do before servicing the motor or accessories?

Always disconnect the trolling motor from the battery before performing any service.

What should I do to avoid damage when opening the shaft cap?

Take care to avoid damaging the two cables connected inside when opening the shaft cap.

We only use first-class delivery carriers, like UPS and DHL. There's an "Express Delivery" option for many shipping destinations available.

It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.
