When should all necessary cables be connected during install?

If you won’t have access to the back after mounting, connect all required cables before fully installing the device.

Should cables be connected before or after mounting if access is limited?

Connect all necessary cables before mounting if back access will be unavailable after install.

How should nut plates be installed for mounting?

Nut plates are placed on the back, lining up inner and outer holes; secure them with included screws as per instructions.

Are there special guidelines for flush mounting?

Only use the included screws to mount—using other screws can void the warranty. Take care not to cut the mounting hole too large.

Can I use screws other than the included ones for mounting?

No, using screws apart from those provided voids your warranty and may damage the device.

What surface shape is required for mounting?

Mount on a flat surface to avoid damaging the device.

How do you connect to the Garmin Marine Network?

Use a 9-pin Garmin Marine Network cable (sold separately), with the included adapter if the connector is larger.

Is special care needed when cutting the mounting hole?

Yes, only cut within the template’s solid line as there is minimal clearance. Cutting too large can affect device stability.

Are there special notices for making the mounting cutout?

When cutting the hole, be careful. Cutting too large a hole could compromise the device's stability once mounted.

Who should perform repairs if the GHC 50 fails?

Repairs should only be made by an authorized Garmin service center; unauthorized repairs void the warranty.

How does the device receive power?

The device is powered through the NMEA 2000 network; no separate direct power connection is needed.

We only use first-class delivery carriers, like UPS and DHL. There's an "Express Delivery" option for many shipping destinations available.

It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.

When you've placed your order, you can follow-up the shipping on the "My Account" section, with detail information about parcel status.

We will also notify you by email or SMS continously about each shipping activity.
