How should the sheave be oriented during installation?
When installing vertical blocks, verify the sheave is leaning away from the mast before final mounting.
Is threadlocking solution required during installation?
Yes, use blue Loctite® threadlocker on screw threads to secure fasteners and during assembly.
Is it necessary to remove the sheave for installation?
No, the block can be installed with or without removing the sheave. Both methods are described in the instructions.
Are the sheave balls at risk of falling out during maintenance?
No, the sheave balls are captive and not at risk of falling out when the sheave is removed.
What is the mounting surface requirement for achieving maximum load rating?
You must mount to solid deck construction and use all specified fasteners, washers, or backing plates in all mounting holes.
What type and size of fasteners are required for installing the 9032 block?
The 9032 block requires 3 button head fasteners, 10 mm in size, made of A4 (316) or A2 (18-8) stainless steel.
Can you mount this block without removing the sheave?
Yes, the block can be installed with or without removing the sheave. Both methods are described in the instructions.
How should you inspect the block hardware for safety?
Inspect fasteners, mounting hardware, and shackles for loosening, cracks, or damage. Secure fasteners using threadlocking solution.
Should you overtighten the fasteners when mounting?
Do not overtighten fasteners during mounting, as overtightening can cause the sheave to bind.
Can caustic cleaners be used on this block?
Do not expose the part to some teak cleaners and other caustic solutions, as it can result in discoloration not covered by warranty.
What should you do if the centerpost is stuck during sheave removal?
Leave the screw halfway in and push on the screw head to push the post out the other side.

We only use first-class delivery carriers, like UPS and DHL. There's an "Express Delivery" option for many shipping destinations available.
It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.
