This CHIRP transducer with a medium frequency band of 600 watts and built-in mounting has been designed to reduce resistance and optimize the performance of the probe in medium-sized fishing or navigation boats, and clearly defines the fish arches, structures and depth returns of the bottom on the screen.

Apply a 2 mm layer of marine sealant to the inner flange and along the threads of the transducer housing where it contacts the hull.
How do you prepare a solid fiberglass hull for installation?
Drill a 3 mm pilot hole, use a 73 mm hole saw for the main hole, then sand and clean inside/around the hole before installing the transducer.
What is the proper orientation when installing the transducer?
The arrow on top of the transducer must point to the keel so the internal angle aligns with the deadrise angle of the boat.
How do you route and secure the transducer cable?
Route the cable away from other wiring and engines, use grommets to protect it when passing through bulkheads, and secure it gently with zip ties.
Should the transducer ever be operated out of water?
Always operate the transducer submerged. Operating it in air may cause overheating and damage.
Should the cable be used to lift or pull the transducer?
No, do not use the cable to pick up or pull the transducer. This can damage the cable and transducer.
How should you clean the transducer to avoid damage?
Clean the transducer with a soft cloth and mild detergent, or a non-metallic pad for severe fouling. Do not use solvents like acetone or a power washer.
Should antifouling paint be used, and what kind?
You can use water-based anti-fouling paint on the hull to slow organism growth. Do not use ketone-based paints.
Are there operating temperature limits for this transducer?
Yes, the operating range is 0° to 50°C (32° to 122°F). For storage, -40° to 70°C (-40° to 158°F).
