The STRIKER 4 probe with portable carrying case is perfect for fishing from a kayak or a canoe. In addition, it is especially useful for ice fishing. The STRIKER 4 probe includes a Garmin CHIRP (77/200 kHz) transducer, which provides a visibly higher level of clarity and detail of fish and structures than traditional 77/200 kHz transducers.
Instead of emitting a single frequency, CHIRP emits sweeps of continuous frequencies with an intensity that ranges from low to high levels and then interprets them one by one as it receives them. Thanks to the fact that the frequencies provide a wider spectrum of information, CHIRP probe technology is capable of creating sharp fish arcs with a superior target separation.
You can also upgrade to Garmin's high-performance CHIRP technology, which provides high-quality probe images with exceptional resolution and lens separation in waters of different depths. For a better fishing experience, the contours of the bottom are more visible, even at the highest speeds, and it is possible to suppress the signal noise at great depths, which provides a more precise interpretation of what is underneath.
Score points with high-sensitivity GPS
Unlike standard probes, STRIKER probes include an integrated high-sensitivity GPS to locate your current position quickly and accurately, and maintain your GPS location anywhere on the lake you are. What is more important, they allow you to mark the points where the fish bite so that you can come back in the future. You can also mark docks, docks and other locations of the lake.
