Magnetic course

The magnetic course sensor provides an accuracy of up to 3 degrees, card stabilization, radar overlay and MARPA even at low speeds.

High sensitivity GPS

The fast frequencies of 10 Hz position updates provide high-sensitivity position, speed and time data.

Extended GNSS compatibility

GPS 24xd provides access to four key global satellite navigation systems (GPS, Galileo2, GLONASS and BeiDou2) to perform more accurate tracking in demanding conditions than if only GPS is used.

Multi-SBAS compatibility corrects signal measurement errors and provides information about the accuracy, integrity, continuity and availability of your signals.

FAQs

Is marine sealant needed during installation?

Filling gaps with marine sealant is optional, especially when routing the cable in the pole-mount slot.

Can mounting screws other than those provided be used?

Yes, but test all hardware with a compass to ensure no magnetic fields are present before installing.

Can the cable be routed through the mounting pole?

Yes, the cable can be routed either outside or through a drilled hole in the mounting pole as described in the instructions.

Is the GPS 24xd suitable for under-deck mounting?

Yes, but under-deck mounting is only allowed under a fiberglass surface. The under-deck mounting kit is supplied with the white antenna models only.

How do you verify if a mounting location is free of magnetic interference?

Test with a handheld compass: if the needle moves in your chosen spot with all equipment powered, relocate and retest.

What type of fasteners should be used when mounting on fiberglass?

A countersink bit is recommended to drill a clearance counterbore through only the top gel-coat to avoid cracking when tightening screws.

What guidelines should be followed when selecting the mounting location?

Choose a site with unobstructed sky view, away from EMI sources, ferrous metal, radar paths, and VHF antennas.

How do you connect the antenna to the NMEA 2000 network?

Connect the antenna using the provided NMEA 2000 T-connector and drop cable.

How should the cable be routed to avoid signal issues?

Route the cable away from sources of electronic interference for the best signal quality.

Hur lång tid tar leveransen?

We only use first-class delivery carriers, like UPS and DHL. There's an "Express Delivery" option for many shipping destinations available.

It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.

When you've placed your order, you can follow-up the shipping on the "My Account" section, with detail information about parcel status.

We will also notify you by email or SMS continously about each shipping activity.
