Can marine sealant be used in the installation?
Marine sealant is optional but can help seal the holes, especially when mounting the plate and connector.
Are extension cables required for installation and what lengths are available?
An extension cable may be required to connect the speaker to the VHF radio. Available lengths are 3 m and 10 m.
Are any special safety precautions needed during installation?
Always wear safety goggles, ear protection, and a dust mask when drilling, cutting, or sanding.
Is it necessary to check the wire length before mounting the handset connector?
Yes, verify the cable from the speaker is long enough to reach the desired mounting location before drilling.
Is a mounting template included and can I print my own?
It is not recommended to print your own template; use the included template for accurate cutouts.
What marine sealant advice is given for mounting?
Applying marine sealant between the mounting plate and surface is optional to help seal holes.
Which drill bit size is needed for the speaker’s pilot mounting holes?
A 3 mm (1/8 in.) drill bit is required for drilling the pilot holes for mounting the speaker.
How do you secure the active speaker to the mounting surface?
Mount the speaker using the included M4 screws after placing it in the cutout and aligning the holes.
How close can the Active Speaker be installed to a magnetic compass?
It must not be installed closer than 50 cm (19.6 in.) to a magnetic compass.

We only use first-class delivery carriers, like UPS and DHL. There's an "Express Delivery" option for many shipping destinations available.
It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.
When you've placed your order, you can follow-up the shipping on the "My Account" section, with detail information about parcel status.
We will also notify you by email or SMS continously about each shipping activity.
