MARINE-READY Design with conformal coated pcbs
Helping to extend the life of your amplifiers, the AM Series amplifiers are designed with conformal coated PCBs to provide extra protection from the marine elements.
Heat sink technology
The incorporated heat sink is designed to dissipate heat efficiently, providing more thermal stability and enhanced component reliability.

How can you help ensure the amplifier's best performance during installation?
Installers should carefully read the manual before starting; quality of installation directly affects amplifier performance and reliability.
How is the remote turn-on terminal connected?
Connect the remote turn-on terminal to a switched +12V source, usually from your head unit. Use at least 18 gauge wire for this connection.
Where should I run the power cable when installing?
Route the power cable away from engine parts and use grommets through any metal wall to avoid cable insulation damage.
How do I connect the RCA input cables?
Connect the RCA inputs to the low-level output of your head unit, keeping RCA cables away from high-power wires to avoid noise.
How should speaker cables be routed and connected?
Connect speakers using the amplifier's designated outputs and ensure no wires are shorted or connected to ground. Follow the diagrams in the manual.
How should this amplifier be mounted for optimal cooling?
Mount the amplifier in a location with enough space for airflow and at least 2.5 inches of clearance around it. Never mount upside down as this compromises heat dissipation and could engage thermal protection.
How do I properly ground the amplifier?
Use the same gauge cable for ground as for power. Connect the ground cable first to a suitable ground point before connecting power.
If my amplifier overheats, what should I check?
Ensure the amplifier is in a ventilated area. Move it if overheating persists and check for shorted speaker wires.
What is the minimum speaker impedance required?
The minimum impedance needed is 2 ohms STEREO or 4 ohms bridged MONO. Lower values can cause protection mode or damage.
What should be used when passing power cable through metal walls?
A grommet should be used when passing the power cable through any metal wall to avoid sharp corners or body parts that might cut through cable insulation.
Where should RCA cables be routed in relation to power cables?
RCA cables should be routed on the opposite side from the power cable to prevent hiss, engine noise, and interference.

We only use first-class delivery carriers, like UPS and DHL. There's an "Express Delivery" option for many shipping destinations available.
It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.
When you've placed your order, you can follow-up the shipping on the "My Account" section, with detail information about parcel status.
We will also notify you by email or SMS continously about each shipping activity.
