The class A actor unit works with the GHP 12 nautical autopilot system to control the steering system of your sailing boat. This device is designed for use with larger boats, up to 28,500 lbs (12,927 kg) of displacement.

What are the mounting hole spacing requirements for installation?
The four mounting holes should be marked and drilled 2.68 inches (68 mm) apart.
What kind of tiller arm or quadrant does the drive unit connect to?
The included tiller pin is designed for use with a quadrant or tiller arm up to 0.79 in. (20 mm) thick. If you lack a suitable quadrant, you must install a compatible tiller arm.
Can the drive unit be installed by the vessel owner or should a professional do it?
Professional installation is highly recommended because installation requires specific knowledge about rudder operation to avoid damage.
What is the recommended maintenance for the drive unit?
Annually examine all bolted connections and the locknut that secures the drag link. Tighten if necessary.
What safety gear should be worn during installation?
You should always wear safety goggles, ear protection, and a dust mask when drilling, cutting, or sanding.
What wiring instructions are provided regarding the drive unit cables?
You must not cut the cables connected to the drive unit, as cutting the cables will void the warranty.
Is the drive unit water-resistant or waterproof?
No, the drive unit is not water-resistant and must be installed where it will not be exposed to water. Exposure to immersion, dripping water, or hose spray will damage it.
How should the movement of the drive unit be limited?
The drive unit movement must be limited by physical end stops, not by the drive unit itself. Failing to install end stops can result in damage to the unit.
What is the recommended mounting orientation for the drive unit?
The drive unit should be mounted with the motor pointing sideways if possible, as mounting with the motor up or down may create more friction and cause more wear over time.

We only use first-class delivery carriers, like UPS and DHL. There's an "Express Delivery" option for many shipping destinations available.
It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.
