Beskrivning

An EmpiriBus digital switching system consists of one or more compact digital DCMs. The DCM supports several circuits that are customized to meet the exact needs of the equipment being controlled. Each DCM is connected to the existing NMEA 2000® main network cable, allowing it to communicate with the other Garmin DCMs and MFDs through a web viewing unit on the Garmin Network.

With multiple ranges and input capabilities, the NXT DCM device is an extremely versatile and cost-effective means of having full control of the boat. Small in size, it is easy to install and maintain.

All output channels are electronically protected and are protected against undercurrents, in addition to being equipped with soft start/stop systems. The channels can be dimmed electronically and drive complex loads such as LED lighting or windshield wipers directly.

Document all system design and keep it updated for commissioning and future maintenance.

Can the unit casing be opened for installation or inspection?

No, the unit should not be opened or the casing removed as it will compromise the environmental seal and void the warranty.

Are standard system fuses or circuit breakers required?

The power source for installation must be protected using a suitably rated fuse or automatic circuit breaker.

Should the power supply be off during installation?

Yes, always ensure the power supply is switched off before starting installation. Do not connect/disconnect with power on.

Are software updates or manuals required for installation or operation?

Check the EmpirBus website for the latest software releases and handbooks to ensure correct operation.

Can I extend or cut cables during installation?

Cables should not be cut or extended unless this is specifically detailed in the installation manual.

How should the product be grounded during installation?

The device must be correctly grounded according to instructions before power is applied, to ensure safety and proper operation.

Is this unit suitable for positive ground electrical systems?

Do not connect the unit to a positive ground system as this may cause damage or safety issues.

Should a fuse or circuit breaker be used on the power source?

Hur lång tid tar leveransen?

We only use first-class delivery carriers, like UPS and DHL. There's an "Express Delivery" option for many shipping destinations available.

It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.

When you've placed your order, you can follow-up the shipping on the "My Account" section, with detail information about parcel status.

We will also notify you by email or SMS continously about each shipping activity.
