How far apart should mounting fasteners/clips be spaced for outdoor or wet installs?

For outdoor installation, wet areas, or tight bends, fasteners should be used in addition to adhesive and placed every 250–300mm apart and/or on either side of the bend.

Do I need to disconnect the boat battery/power before installation?

Yes. Isolate/disconnect the vessel’s power source and battery before installing the strip light.

For a dual-color install on a switch, where should the switch be connected?

For the dual-color strip switch connection, the guide notes the switch connects to the negative wires of the strip light.

For outdoor or wet installations, is adhesive alone enough?

For outdoor installation, wet areas, or tight bend radii, the guide recommends using mechanical fasteners in addition to the adhesive layer.

Are there location limitations regarding direct sunlight?

Yes. Even though the material is UV resistant, it should not be installed in areas of strong direct sunlight.

Any handling tips to avoid damaging the LEDs during install?

Yes. Uncoil carefully and don’t apply pressure over the LEDs—press the edge of the strip only.

Why must the adhesive backing be removed before sealing the cut end?

If the adhesive backing isn’t properly removed at the end being sealed, it may compromise watertight properties and risk voiding warranty.

How should I prep the mounting surface for the adhesive backing?

Thoroughly clean the mounting surface using IPA and ensure it is dust and dirt free before applying the strip.

Where should I avoid placing mounting fasteners relative to the LEDs?

Don’t position fasteners in line with the LEDs for best results.

After fitting the end cap, how long should sealant cure?

After fitting the end cap with silicone adhesive, allow it to cure for 24 hours before handling.

Hur lång tid tar leveransen?

We only use first-class delivery carriers, like UPS and DHL. There's an "Express Delivery" option for many shipping destinations available.

It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.

When you've placed your order, you can follow-up the shipping on the "My Account" section, with detail information about parcel status.

We will also notify you by email or SMS continously about each shipping activity.
