How far below the waterline is installation recommended for best illumination?
Lumishore recommends mounting 4" to 12" (100–300mm) below the minimum load water line for best underwater illumination.
What pilot hole size is specified for the mounting screws?
Use a 9/64" (3.5mm) pilot hole for the screws as specified in the mechanical installation tools/notes.
Is professional installation recommended?
Yes. The instructions state that a qualified professional should carry out both the electrical and mechanical installation.
What spacing is recommended when installing three or more lights?
For three or more lights, equal spacing of 2.5'–3' is recommended to create a consistent light pool.
Can I use power tools to tighten the mounting screws?
No. Hand-tighten only and do not over tighten; power tools should not be used to tighten screws.
How should sealant be applied before fastening the light?
Apply a continuous thick bead to the back of the light, slightly overfilling the outer-edge recess, and also apply a bead around the cable gland.
How many lights can one EOS i-Connect Hub power?
One EOS i-Connect Hub can power up to 4 lights.
How many hubs can be connected together in one system?
Up to 4 hubs can be connected together in one system.
Are there location limits related to exhaust or other heat sources?
Yes. The light is temperature sensitive and must not be located close to an exhaust outlet or other heat source.
What is the water ingress protection rating of the SMX154 light?
The SMX154 is rated IP68 for water ingress protection.

We only use first-class delivery carriers, like UPS and DHL. There's an "Express Delivery" option for many shipping destinations available.
It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.
When you've placed your order, you can follow-up the shipping on the "My Account" section, with detail information about parcel status.
We will also notify you by email or SMS continously about each shipping activity.
