HIGH-POWERED Radar
This 120-watt solid-state radar has a range from 20’ to 96 nautical miles, even in fog or rain. It offers rotation speeds of 24 RPM for reduced power consumption and 48 RPM for fast screen updates.
HIGH-RESOLUTION Radar
The 1.8-degree horizontal beamwidth provides a high-resolution image and high antenna gain to pick out even weak targets at a distance.
Motionscope Technology
MotionScope uses the Doppler effect to detect moving targets and highlight them in different colors so you can navigate around other boats or severe weather — or toward fishing spots where birds feed at the surface.

Use 3.31 mm² (12 AWG) copper wire routed from the pedestal and voltage converter to a water ground location, coating connections with marine sealant.
Is software updating required when installing the radar?
You must update the Garmin chartplotter software when you install this radar to ensure proper operation.
What size hole might be needed to route cables through the mounting surface?
A hole up to 32 mm (1 1/4 in.) in diameter may be required for cable routing.
How do you connect the radar's ground wire?
Route a 12 AWG copper wire from the ground connector on the pedestal to a suitable water ground location on the boat, coating the connection with marine sealant.
How should the power cable be extended if necessary?
If the power cable must be extended, use the proper wire gauge for the length and make water-resistant connections with crimp connectors and heat-shrink.
How is the network connection established to a chartplotter?
Connect to a Garmin BlueNet chartplotter or Marine Network using the included BlueNet cable. An adapter is needed for legacy Marine Network ports.
What gauge wire is required for grounding the radar?
