The STRIKER™ Plus 4 probe is equipped with a bright 4.3" screen, integrated GPS, a CHIRP probe that provides sharp images and the Quickdraw Contours map software, which allows you to store up to more than 800,000 hectares of content with contours of 30 cm. The integrated GPS allows you to mark waypoints and navigate to them, in addition to seeing the speed of the boat.

Quickdraw Garmin Contours

Nobody knows the waters where you fish better than you and your fellow fishermen. While you fish on the coastlines and the depths, the Quickdraw Contours map software creates HD fishing maps of the places you've been to. No special knowledge is required. Now, STRIKER™ Plus 4 can store up to more than 800,000 hectares of your Quickdraw maps Contours with 30 cm contours.

Clarity with the CHIRP probe

The STRIKER™ Plus 4 probe includes the Garmin CHIRP probe, so you can enjoy the high levels of clarity and detail you expect from Garmin. The sharp images of the probe provide an exceptional separation of the objectives and an excellent resolution, both in deep and shallow waters. The contours of the background are more visible, even at the highest speeds, and it is possible to suppress the signal noise at great depths, which provides a more timely interpretation of what is underneath

GPS probe

The integrated high-sensitivity GPS can locate and maintain your position anywhere in the water. Likewise, GPS allows you to mark waypoints for different places. In this way, if you find a place where the fish bite the hook, you can mark it to return at another time. Mark the docks, docks and other places on the lake, and create routes that will take you back to them next time. You should not cut the transducer cable. Doing so will void your warranty.

It is recommended to have a qualified marine installer perform the installation to ensure proper setup and avoid potential damage.

How do I secure the transducer cable on a trolling motor installation?

Use waterproof tape to secure the cable to the trolling motor shaft, ensuring it avoids pinch points.

How should I test for water leaks after installation?

After installation, check for leaks around screw holes added below the water line before leaving your boat in water for an extended period.

What mounting surface considerations should I follow for the transducer?

Mount the transducer parallel to the waterline and avoid areas with strakes, struts, fittings, water inlets/discharge, or turbulent water.

Should I apply sealant when mounting the transducer and cable entry?

Apply marine sealant to all screw threads and fill cable pass-through holes with marine sealant.

Should you update the software after installing a new transducer?

Yes, you must update the chartplotter software after installing the device.

Lightly sand and clean the transducer with isopropyl alcohol, then coat it and the mounting hardware with water-based anti-fouling paint.

How much clearance should I provide from the propeller?

Mount the transducer at least 38 cm (15 in.) from the propeller and avoid mounting it in the path of the propeller.

How should the transducer be mounted relative to the waterline on fiberglass or aluminum hulls?

For fiberglass, extend 3.5 mm (0.125 in.) below; for aluminum, extend 10 mm (0.375 in.) below the hull.

What precautions should be taken for cable routing?

Route cables away from ignition wires, batteries, and high-energy wires to reduce noise and interference.

What drill bit size should I use for routing the 4-pin transducer cable?

For a 4-pin cable, use a 16 mm (5/8 in.) drill bit for the pass-through hole.

How should transducer depth be adjusted for optimal performance?

Adjust the depth in small increments downward until signal degradation is eliminated, or move to another location if needed.
