These incredibly powerful 18′′ and 24′′ closed antenna radars have elegance and performance with a black option and 50 watts of output power.
HIGH-POWER Radar
These 50-watt closed-antenna radars have a range ranging from 20 feet to 48 nautical miles, even in fog or rain. In addition, they offer a rotation speed of up to 60 rpm to generate a refresh rate that can detect movement at any speed. They are now available in two colors, black and white, to suit your boat.
HIGH-RESOLITY Radar
High-resolution images and high antenna gain help to select lenses remotely, while 8-bit real color images improve the separation of lenses.
Motionscope technology
MotionScope uses the Doppler effect to detect moving targets and highlight them in different colors so that you can surround other boats or navigate in adverse weather conditions, or towards fishing points where the birds feed on the surface.
Energy saving mode
The energy saving function allows you to choose when you need more or less power, so that you have energy when you need it and you can keep it when you don't need it.
Timed transmission mode
With the timed transmission mode, you can even specify downtime and activity times in seconds to help reduce energy consumption, so you can spend more time in the water than ever before.
Intuitive operation
These radars do not require the user to perform any complex configuration, so it is easy to install and start using.
Size of the objectives
Adjust the resolution of the on-screen lens to obtain a better separation depending on the environment.
Auto bird gain
It locates flocks of birds on the surface of the water, where schools of fish are likely to be found.
Echo tracking
A historical "trace" is reflected on the screen that helps to quickly and easily identify moving targets and possible collision threats.
Dual scale
The simple radar antenna can provide split-screen images on the plotter, with independent range controls and settings for both short and long range.
Compatibility with dual radars
Using a dual radar provides redundancy and the possibility of extracting data from one of the two different radar sources in each display unit of the boat.
Dynamic automatic gain
This function automatically adjusts to the environment to offer optimal performance in all conditions.
Dynamic sea filter
The gain automatically adjusts the sea filter to calm, medium or chopped sea conditions.
Radar overlay
Overlay radar images on the plotter map page. You can add an optional autopilot or course sensor to get the best results (sold separately).
Automatic acquisition
The new automatic acquisition function of Mini Automatic Radar Plotting Aid (mini automatic radar plotting aid, MARPA) allows you to activate and track up to 30 targets without the user having to intervene in all signals, boundary zones, guard zones or MotionScope technology.
Guard zone
You can adjust the security zone and receive an alarm when an object enters it.
Vrm and ebl
Variable range markers (VRM) and electronic heading lines (EBL) allow you to quickly measure distance and direction with respect to boats and land.

How should the radar be secured to the mounting surface?
Use M8 x 1.25 x 60 threaded rods, flat washers, spring washers, and hex nuts. Tighten nuts to 13.7 to 18.6 N-m (10 to 14 lbf-ft.) with a torque wrench.
How is the radar powered and fused?
Connect red wire to battery positive and black to negative. Use the in-line 7.5 A fuse as indicated.
What should I check if the radar does not turn on?
Check power cable/battery connections, the inline fuse, and ensure wire gauge is correct for any extensions.
How much should the nuts on the mounting rods be torqued?
Tighten the nuts to 13.7 to 18.6 N-m (10 to 14 lbf-ft.) using a torque wrench.
How can I determine the correct mounting height on a roof?
Use (Distance (in.) × 0.222) - 6 = height (in.), where 'Distance' is from mount location to the front of the roof.
How do I connect the radar to a Garmin BlueNet or Marine Network?
Connect the BlueNet cable from the radar to the chartplotter or BlueNet 20 switch. Use a Marine Network adapter for legacy networks.
What gauge wire is needed for power cable extensions?
Use 16 AWG for 2 m, 14 AWG for 4 m, and 12 AWG for 6 m power cable extensions.
What is the compass-safe distance?
The radar should not be mounted closer to a compass than 97 cm (38 in.) for 18x or 89 cm (35 in.) for 24x.
Is it safe for users to service the device themselves?
No, this device contains no user-serviceable parts—servicing should only be done by an authorized Garmin technician.
What does the status LED indicate?
Solid red = getting ready, flashing green = operating, flashing orange = software update, flashing red = error.

It should not take more than 2-4 days to any European location, 3-6 days to any USA-based location, and 3-7 days worldwide.
